Little Rock

I was just a little rock
Small, rough,
Carrying pockets of "not enough"

Life pressed in.
Hard.
Cracks split me open.
It hurt like hell.

But inside the rubble
Was light
My light
Waiting for a way out.

Now?
I'm a diamond.
I shine without apology.
I hold space for healing.
I live in a home that hugs me back.
My people are close
And my heart is wide open.

I was just a little rock.
Now.
I'm everything i was always meant to be.
